Imagining Rainbows and Rocketships OnDemand eCourse
Guided Visualizations for Relaxation and Learning
Guided imagery is a valuable tool to help children relax their bodies and focus their minds. By picturing a relaxing place and imagining all the sights, smells, sounds, feelings, and even tastes of this place, stress is reduced and the body and mind are calmed. Guided visualizations can be used anywhere and anytime a child needs some “down time”, including at home at bedtime, in the classroom before a test, or during savasana in a yoga class.
Carolyn Clarke, owner of Bambino Yoga, has been teaching yoga to children since 2002, and has used guided imagery with children of all ages, from toddlers to teens. Her guided imagery book, Imaginations: Fun Relaxation Stories and Meditations for Kids, is a favorite of parents and teachers around the world.
Join Carolyn for a webinar on child-friendly guided visualization techniques filled with rainbows and rocket ships. Participants will learn about the benefits of guided imagery, as well as practical ways to create a relaxing, child-friendly environment for relaxation. Participants will also experience a guided visualization leaving them calm, relaxed, and ready to share guided imagery with children.
