You've Got the Whole World in Your Hands: Mudras for Kids
You've Got the Whole World in Your Hands: Mudras for Kids
This one hour webinar with Marsha Therese Danzig will illuminate the many ways specific, purposeful hand movements can increase positive energy and how to use them during kids yoga class. Mudras are like mini yoga poses done with the hands and occasionally the entire body. Mudra means seal, so in practicing a mudra, it is like sealing the body, mind and spirit together. Children of all ages respond beautifully to the essential simplicity of mudras. Mudras, which correspond to different energetic pathways in the body system, parallel acupuncture meridians. Mudras are ideal for children to self- regulate, calm, energize, meditate, and release pent up emotions in a healthy way. Mudras are easy to learn, easy to practice, easy to teach.
